Startup food company Vow Food is using bioengineering to grow meat in cleanroom environments. Vow believes that the future of meat is, instead of plant based protein, lab grown meats. These meats in the future could become household names. Vow currently has a quail like meat product that they formed in a lab and call Morsel, which is currently being reviewed by regulators. Currently Vow is testing over 20 species of animal protein which includes alpaca and crocodile.
